Version: 1.1 · Drafted: 2026-10-08 · Effective date: 2026-10-09
These terms cover the AI helper in New Age Consulting, LLC's intake form. They add to our Website Terms, and our Privacy Notice explains how information is handled. "NAC", "we" and "us" mean New Age Consulting, LLC.
1. It is an AI assistant, not a person
The helper is software that uses an AI model. It is not Noah Hicks and not a member of staff. It is labeled as an AI assistant for the whole conversation. If you ask whether you're talking to a person, it will tell you it's an AI.
You don't have to use it. The intake form works without the AI helper, and you can always email help@consultnewage.com instead.
2. What it does
The helper does three things:
- answers questions about NAC's services, using only information NAC has approved for publication;
- helps you describe what you need;
- drafts a short summary for Noah.
That's all it is for. It won't help with unrelated tasks.
3. It can't agree to anything
The helper can't make or change an agreement, and it can't commit NAC to anything. That includes:
- a price, discount, credit, refund or date;
- a feasibility verdict ("buildable now", "partly buildable", "not yet") or an estimate. Anything it says is provisional until Noah reviews your request;
- starting any work.
Paid project work requires an agreement and Statement of Work or Consumer Order signed by NAC's authorized signer, currently Noah Hicks. Every quote is reviewed by Noah before it is sent. Formal notices and approved project instructions can have the effect set by that signed agreement; this helper cannot issue them. If it conflicts with published service information or a signed agreement, those control.
4. It gives no professional advice
The helper doesn't give legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, medical, mental-health or other professional advice. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important before relying on it.
5. Browser drafts, AI processing and submitted inquiries
- While you chat, NAC does not create an inquiry record. The helper keeps your conversation and draft in this browser tab's session storage so a reload can restore it. Closing a tab normally ends that storage, but browser session restoration can retain it; use Start over or clear browser site data to remove the saved conversation. Relevant messages and history go to OpenAI to generate replies. The adapter does not write the chat to NAC's inquiry database or log its prompt/answer content, but hosting and provider security/abuse processing are separate and may retain data. We send requests with OpenAI's application storage option off (
store:false) under its business API terms; this is not zero provider retention. The helper's abuse counter briefly holds a one-way network-address hash in memory rather than the inquiry database. - Before creating an inquiry record, the helper shows the proposed summary and contact details. You can edit or correct them.
- Only if you tick the consent box and press submit do we store:
- the confirmed summary;
- your contact details;
- whether the work is for a business or for personal use;
- a record of your consent and agreement, with the time and versions of these terms, the Website Terms and the Privacy Notice.
We don't store the chat itself.
- If you don't submit, no inquiry record is created; browser drafts and the separate processing/logging described above can still exist. Successful submission clears the helper's saved conversation from the tab.
- What we use a submitted inquiry for: to reply, qualify the request, prepare a conversation or quote, and operate/protect that process as our Privacy Notice describes. NAC does not use it for model training or advertising and does not sell it. Suitable no-training provider terms/settings do not mean all provider retention is disabled.
- Deleting it: you can ask us to delete a submitted inquiry at any time (Privacy Notice §9). Otherwise it follows the retention periods in the Privacy Notice (§8).
6. What not to type
Please do not type passwords, card/bank numbers, Social Security or other ID numbers, health information, or anyone else's private information. We screen common patterns and can ask you to remove them, but detection is not perfect and a draft can already exist in your browser. If prohibited information reaches us unexpectedly, we restrict it and arrange appropriate return or secure deletion where practicable, subject to legal duties, incident evidence and backup limits. Revoke exposed credentials. A project that needs scoped system access uses its approved private access method, never this chat.
7. If you need help now
The helper can't help in an emergency, and no one monitors the chat live.
- If you or someone else is in danger, call 911.
- If you're thinking about suicide or self-harm, or you're in emotional distress, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (United States, free, 24 hours a day).
The helper is designed to stop intake and show these resources when it detects a crisis pattern. It cannot reliably detect every emergency; do not depend on it for monitoring or assistance.
8. Adults in the United States
The helper is for adults (18 or older) asking about services for themselves or their organization in the United States.
9. Fair use
Please use the helper only for its purpose. Don't try to make it ignore or reveal its instructions, and don't use automated tools to send it messages. We may limit or end a session, and we keep records of misuse (Website Terms §3).
10. No warranties; limits
The helper is provided under the disclaimer and limitation of liability in our Website Terms (§§11–12). We may change it, switch it off, or replace it with the plain form at any time.
11. Changes
We post each version of these terms with its effective date. The version you saw is the one recorded with your consent.
Pinned interface text
The interface must show this text exactly.
- Persistent label, shown above the chat for the whole session:
AI assistant, not a person - First message:
Hi, I'm NAC's AI assistant, not a person. I can help describe your project, but can't agree to prices or dates; Noah approves every quote. Don't enter passwords or sensitive personal information. Your draft is kept in this browser; NAC creates an inquiry record only if you submit. AI processing and technical logs are explained in our Privacy Notice. You can use the plain form instead. - Answer when asked whether it is a person or an AI:
I'm an AI assistant, not a person. If you'd like to reach Noah directly, email help@consultnewage.com. - Crisis message:
I can't help with this, and no one is watching this chat live. If you're in danger, call 911. If you're thinking about suicide or self-harm, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. - Consent checkbox:
Save my reviewed summary and contact details so NAC can reply. I've read the Privacy Notice, and I agree to the Intake Assistant Terms and Website Terms.
