How it works

From a first call to software that runs.

Four steps, and you can stop after any of them. Every job gets a written quote before it starts, and Noah is the one person accountable the whole way.

The steps

What happens, in order.

Sheet · A project, start to finish

  • A person does it
  • Automated
  • Planned, not built yet
  • Your move
The signal diamond is the one place a decision is yours: nothing is built until you've seen the triage and the quote, and signed.
  1. A person: First call, Free · 20–30 minutes
  2. A person: Scoping, a written plan
  3. Your move: You sign
  4. Automated: Build, agents + Noah's review
  5. Automated: Care, watched, updated
  1. 01

    A first call

Free. Twenty to thirty minutes by phone or video, or in person nearby. You describe the work; you get a provisional read and a next step, which might be a scoped project, a template you can set up yourself, or an honest no.

You get · A short written recap.

  2. 02

    Scoping, when it's needed

For anything not clear enough to quote: a working session on one problem, or a longer scoping for work that crosses several systems. The job gets mapped, the risky parts tested, and every item sorted into the three answers.

You get · A written plan with a triage card per item, and a written quote for the buildable part.

  3. 03

    Build, with acceptance tests

You sign the quote, the first payment it names clears, and work starts. Agents do much of the building; Noah reviews everything and decides what ships. You see a working demo, and the acceptance tests you agreed on run before you accept.

You get · Working software in accounts you own, a runbook, and a 14-day correction period after you accept.

  4. 04

    Ongoing care

Optional. What was built stays watched, updated and backed up, with small changes included, month to month. Stop any time; it ends with the paid month.

You get · A short monthly note of what was checked and changed.

Pricing is case by case: the written quote carries the scope, the price and the payment terms, and nothing starts until you've signed it. Ways to work together

The triage

Every item gets one of three answers.

Each thing you ask for gets a triage card: the item in your words, the answer, what it takes, what stays human and who does it, the risks, the evidence behind the answer, how confident it is, and what it does to the quote.
  1. Buildable now

You get the scope, a written quote, and a plan.

  2. Partly buildable

What we can automate, what stays with a person, and why.

  3. Not yet

What's missing. If you'd like, we'll tell you when that changes.

  • Every quote lists every item you asked for, so nothing is dropped quietly.
  • A first-call answer is provisional and says so. Answers from scoping are written down.
  • If an answer changes after you sign, it goes through a written change order. It's never absorbed or billed quietly.
  • A “not yet” names what's missing. With your say-so, it gets checked again at a set date, and you hear if it changed.

What stays human

Agents draft. People decide.

AI agents do a lot of the work: drafting, building, testing, checking. They don't get to commit you or New Age Consulting to anything.

Agents do

  • Draft replies, quotes and updates
  • Build and test code
  • Check systems and flag problems
  • Prepare bookkeeping proposals
  • Write Noah's daily digest

Noah does

  • Approve anything that binds the firm
  • Review the evidence and decide what ships
  • Sign as New Age Consulting
  • Issue invoices and refunds
  • Answer for the work

You do

  • Approve the scope and sign
  • Sign in to your own accounts (nobody here holds your passwords)
  • Pay invoices from your side
  • Accept the work against its tests

Signing and records

You sign on a page that shows exactly what you're signing.

Agreements are signed in New Age Consulting's own signing application, not a third-party service, and each signed record can be checked later without an account.
  1. 01
    A code, not a password

The signing link arrives by email; a separate one-time code proves the address is yours.

  2. 02
Consent first, for people signing for themselves

Before you sign, you see a plain disclosure: you can ask for paper, you can withdraw consent, and what you need to open the files. Then you choose.

  3. 03
    The exact document

The page names the document and its version. What you sign is what gets recorded.

  4. 04
A record bound to the text

Completion creates a record tied to a fingerprint (a hash) of the exact document. Change one character and the check fails.

  5. 05
Your copy, and a way to check it

You get the signed copy by email and can verify it any time.

The design follows the federal E-SIGN Act's consumer-consent rules (15 U.S.C. §7001(c)) for every individual signer, and Missouri's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (RSMo 432.200–432.295), which requires that both sides agree to do business electronically. Some documents are never signed electronically. This describes a design; it isn't legal advice.
